About the internship program #semear

The program is an opportunity to cultivate talents with a view to the future. It is aimed at those who identify with our culture and our values, at those who focus on development and wish to change the world.

The program covers all units in Brazil, from farms, offices, factories and the port.

Who is eligible for the program?

  • Higher education students who wish to start a career at a multinational company of Brazilian origin, an industry leader, where they may learn a trade, develop projects and tackle challenges.
     
  • Candidates are requested to do an Internship of at least one year, 30 hours per week.

  • Thayane

    Thayane Celestrino Donofre was a #semear intern at the Supply Chain Control Tower in 2018. She set up the Daily Service Management of the Productive Chain (GORD), a daily half-hour meeting to discuss the functioning of the entire production chain, from the arrival of fruits to the delivery of products at the Santos Terminal.
    She is now a regular employee and attends GORD together with employees, presenting the main results and the strategies that need to be put into practice.

    Alex Naoto Shishido Hirai was a #semear intern in 2017, and is today a Fruit Research Analyst. During his internship, he developed an automatic fruit counter, which supports the preliminary and official estimation of crops, optimizing the routine of the team in charge of this process. One of the collaborators who was impacted by the project was Marcos Aurélio de Medeiros Ferreira, a Fruit Research Analyst. “Alex’s integration in our area has helped us explore its potential to create more growth opportunities,” says Marcos.
